Teacups and Doilies

Teacups and Doilies

By: Farhana | @everydayengineered

Hello Hello crafty friends! I’m so excited to be back here on the Emily Moore Designs Blog, Emily is the sweetest and has an amazing growing collection of dies and stamps, that I not only get to create with, but I also get to share with y’all! Today I’m sharing a card using the doily die from the Shaker Frame Die - The Doily. I was inspired by Emily to pull out some pattern paper and create a tea themed card!

To create this card, I started by die cutting 3 doilies using the inner die from the Shaker Frame Die - The Doily. I adhered them to my card front, offsetting each one a little bit, and trimming off the excess. I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set, that curved around the “largest” doily. And by largest I mean that one that I trimmed the least off!

The images on the card are from Pretty Pink Posh’s Tea Time Stamp Set, that I colored in using copic marker, shown below.

Once I finished coloring the images, I die cut them using the coordinating, Tea Time Dies and added them to the doilies using both foam tape and liquid glue to add a little dimension. I finished off the card by adding my signature touch, a few gems!

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it! Don’t forget to follow me over on Instagram to see more behind the scenes and use code FARH10 for 10% off your purchase here!

Happy Crafting!
