Emily Moore Designs Angel Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
Emily Moore Designs loves seeing crafters use our products to create handmade cards, scrapbook pages, paper crafts, gifts, and other creative projects.
This Angel Policy explains how individuals and small handmade businesses may use physical Emily Moore Designs products to create items for personal use or limited commercial sale.
1. Products Covered
This policy applies to physical Emily Moore Designs products, including:
- Metal cutting dies
- Clear or rubber stamps
- Stencils
- Printed craft paper
- Other physical crafting products identified as Emily Moore Designs products
Digital downloads, artwork files, membership content, course materials, photographs, videos, product images, packaging artwork, logos, and other digital or published content are not licensed for commercial use unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
2. Personal Use
You may use Emily Moore Designs products for personal crafting without restriction, including creating:
- Handmade cards
- Scrapbook pages
- Tags
- Decorations
- Gifts
- Classroom or community craft projects
- Other finished paper-crafting projects
You may alter, layer, color, trim, arrange, and combine die cuts, stamped images, and other craft elements as part of your finished project.
3. Sale of Handmade Finished Projects
You may sell finished handmade projects created using Emily Moore Designs products without obtaining a separate commercial license, provided that:
- The finished item is personally handmade by you or members of your small crafting business.
- Emily Moore Designs products are used as tools or design elements within a completed creative project.
- The item includes meaningful creative assembly, finishing, arrangement, coloring, embellishment, or other craftsmanship.
- The item is sold as a finished project rather than as a supply, component, template, or substitute for the Emily Moore Designs product.
- Your listing does not suggest that Emily Moore Designs made, sponsored, approved, or partnered in producing the finished item.
Examples of permitted products include handmade greeting cards, scrapbook layouts, gift tags, framed paper art, and decorated paper-craft projects.
4. Prohibited Sales
You may not sell or distribute:
- Loose, unaltered die-cut shapes sold as craft supplies
- Packages or sets of stamped impressions
- Precut pieces intended primarily for another person to assemble
- Mass-produced or factory-produced items using our designs
- Reproductions that function as a substitute for purchasing the original die, stamp, stencil, paper, or other product
- Molds, templates, cutting files, tracing files, or patterns derived from our products
- Scanned or photographed impressions intended for reuse or reproduction
- Digital files containing or recreating our artwork or designs
- Print-on-demand merchandise featuring our designs
- Products made by an outside manufacturer using our designs
- Items using Emily Moore Designs artwork as a logo, brand identity, or product trademark
You may not outsource production to a commercial manufacturer, fulfillment company, or print-on-demand service under this policy.
5. Quantity and Production Method
There is no fixed numerical limit on handmade finished projects created under this policy.
However, the policy is intended for individual crafters and small handmade businesses. Each finished item must involve genuine hands-on crafting or finishing.
Automated, industrial, factory-scale, or assembly-line reproduction is not permitted, even when the finished product is described as handmade.
Emily Moore Designs may determine that an operation falls outside this policy based on its production method, scale, outsourcing, or whether the finished items compete with our products as crafting supplies.
6. Modification and Creative Use
You may modify the physical elements produced with our products as part of a finished craft project. Examples include:
- Coloring stamped images
- Layering die cuts
- Combining multiple products
- Trimming or arranging elements
- Adding embellishments
- Incorporating the design into a larger handmade composition
You may not modify, trace, digitize, reverse-engineer, or adapt the underlying design for the purpose of creating:
- A new die, stamp, stencil, mold, template, or cutting file
- A digital design or downloadable file
- A substantially similar competing craft product
- A manufacturing pattern
- A product that reproduces or replaces the original Emily Moore Designs product
Copyright owners generally retain the exclusive right to authorize reproductions and derivative works of protected artwork, although not every functional or familiar design element is independently copyrightable.
7. Digital Use and Sharing
You may photograph and share your completed projects online, including on:
- Social media
- Blogs
- Online shops
- Craft-group pages
- Video tutorials
- Marketing materials for your handmade finished products
You may not:
- Upload scans or high-resolution images that allow others to reproduce the design
- Share digital copies of product artwork
- Create or distribute SVG, PNG, PDF, embroidery, laser-cutting, or other production files based on our designs
- Share membership downloads or paid digital materials
- Post templates or measurements designed to duplicate our proprietary products
- Sell or give away digital reproductions of stamped images, die cuts, papers, or artwork
8. Attribution

- Wholesale purchasing does not automatically grant manufacturing, reproduction, sublicensing, or digital-distribution rights.
Please contact us before producing large class kits, subscription-box components, commercial workshop materials, or similar repeated-use items.
10. Ownership of Intellectual Property
Emily Moore Designs retains all rights it holds in its original artwork, product designs, photographs, written materials, branding, and other intellectual property.
Purchasing an Emily Moore Designs product gives you ownership of the physical product. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork, copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
Nothing in this policy grants permission to reproduce, manufacture, sublicense, distribute, or create competing products based on Emily Moore Designs intellectual property except for the limited handmade-project permission expressly stated above.
11. Legal Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that your products, listings, marketing, and business activities comply with applicable laws and do not infringe the rights of Emily Moore Designs or any third party.
This policy does not grant rights to third-party characters, phrases, fonts, artwork, trademarks, or other content that may appear in a customer’s independent project.
