Hi crafty friends! Today I thought I'd share my quick & easy process to make some Valentine's Day cards with our latest FREE printables! These printables coordinate perfectly with our Card Sentiment Dies, making it simple to just print, die cut & create! Below you will find a full process video of me walking you through these fun two cards I created.
What I love about the Card Sentiment Dies is how versatile they really are. Not only can you use them with our FREE printable sheets, but also our Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set and even a LOT of stamps you have at home!
When making these cards, I felt I wanted them to be a little more non traditional as far as Valentine's Day goes. But with Valentine's Day now being less than a week away (eek!) I hope these are helpful to you all as well! Nothing is better than receiving a homemade card, especially from someone you love. With our FREE printable sheets, you don't even have to break out your ink! Making it that much simpler and less time consuming to create something beautiful.
Purple is my favorite color, and this saying is possibly my favorite so I used that here. I used the largest die in the Card Sentiments Die pack to make my card base, and I used a fun trick with some washi tape for those ribbons. First, tape some washi onto some white cardstock, then just die cut it out! It's that simple!
I also love putting some washi tape down on my cardstock before cutting it out with our largest A2 Liner Die in the Card Sentiment Die pack. This allows the tape to adhere even more so, and I love using this technique actually for the inside of my cards. I did this for the front of my card base here on the coral card.
I was really into the ribbons! I decided to do a stacking technique and think they turned out just lovely. You'll notice some of these sayings are very classic Valentine's Day, and some you can use anytime! I hope these are something you are able to use for this upcoming holiday & enjoy!
