Hi crafty friends! Today I am walking you through how to make some adorable gift tags, just in time for the Easter holiday! Easter is a little earlier this year & I had to use up some more of those Easter Eggs I created, so I thought, why not make some gift tags! Our Card Sentiment Dies has the perfect pack of dies, one of them included is the Gift Tag Die. Easter Gift Tags are such a cute thing to add onto Easter baskets for kids (or why not adults!). I could definitely see giving my Mom something lovely for Easter, like a bin of chocolates and including one of these lovely gift tags.
To add a little unique touch to the gift tags, I used some of the New Catherine Pooler Spring Gingham Patterned Paper. It includes some lighter colors that I love and used, like the green. I also really liked the pale orange, which goes perfectly with her new Creamsicle color! For this tag below, I used Creamsicle on the bottom edge there with the new Ukranian Egg Stamp Set. I keep finding more & more ways to use that stamp set!
I knew I wanted the fronts to have that beautiful patterned paper, but I didn't want to neglect the backs either. From there, I decided to cut the same pattern of paper for the top half of my gift tag, then adhere the one on top of the other for one cohesive look! I then used our Numbers & Gifting Stamp Set to add the "to" & "love" with some Pixie Dust ink onto the back.
Our stamps like a light touch when pressing down, that gives you a nice clean look! I also ended up using the longest Card Sentiment Die & the rounded rectangle one shortened up to stamp my sentiment "hoppy Easter". Some of these stamps I had in my stash, so just use what you have!
I finished them off with some Bakers twine and sequins.
