Hello and happy holiday season!
Sabine here with you today. We're having so much fun with our newest products that I just had to make another Christmas card. I really wanted to create an elegant card combining the Happy with Christmas.
Below you can find a video where I walk you through the entire process. Keep on reading to see how I made it!
For this card I used the following products:
- Happy Birthday Word Dies Big & Bold
- Merry Christmas Word Dies Big & Bold
- Decorative Sentiment Dies
- Card Sentiment Dies
- Christmas Sweater Layered Stencil
- Just Wanted To Say stamp set
I also used some SHC Lunar Paste Sike! and CPD Spruce Ink Pad. Links for the tools I used will be on the bottom of this blog.

First, I made a horizontal A2 card base and cut the elements of my card.
From white card stock I cut out an A2 liner from the Card Sentiment Dies, the shadow for the word Christmas, a long ribbon and a small frame from the Decorative Sentiment Dies, and a Happy from the Happy Birthday Word Dies.

I colored a 5.5" x 4.25" piece of white card stock with CPD Spruce Ink around the edges and centered the large frame from the Decorative Sentiment Dies on it to cut out.
The words and the long ribbon I cut out of white card stock with a layer of Lunar Paste Sike! applied.

The A2 liner got decorated with golden snowflakes from the Christmas Sweater Layered Stencil and a piece of dark green velvet ribbon as background for the word Christmas.
I backed the golden Happy with the white cut out to make it more rigid, because I raised it off the background with some thin 3D foam squares.
After attaching the word Happy I used some slightly thicker foam tape to raise the green frame above all other elements on the front of the card. Then I glued the word Christmas with its white shadow on the Happy above the green ribbon and finished the card front with some white gemstones.

On the inside of the card, I layered the smaller white frame in the upper left corner of the large green frame from the Decorative Sentiment Dies.
Love you lots from our Just Wanted To Say stamp set makes the small ribbon complete and I layered it onto the large golden ribbon. Tugged in the lower right corner of the green frame it is the finishing touch to a pretty space for a personal note.
I really enjoyed making this card and it turned out the way I imagined. Hopefully it inspired you too and you will make some fun creations with our new word dies. Don't forget to post any questions and suggestions in the comments below.
Happy Christmas!
Sabine
