Hi crafty friends! Today I am walking you through a super quick and fun card make that features our Love/Valentine's Day FREE printables! Even though Valentine's Day is over, I wanted to share with you how you can definitely still use these FREE sayings for your card making. Check out my full process video below to see how this card came together!
First, I grabbed the beautiful paper from our A2 Card Base Paper Pack, I chose the watercolor & splatter looking pink/purple paper, I just love the colors in this! I then had an idea to make a sort of peep hole card. I've done this before, but typically my process is to do this when there are 2 separate dies. On this one, I only had the one heart die, but decided to try it out! And I think it worked just fine!
The inside of this card is blank but I find it perfect with the heart to be able to add whatever you'd like to the inside of the card. I did end up trimming a little but of the bottom of the heart so it wouldn't catch on the front, but it really wasn't too big of an issue! I also used the micro squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, and you can find all the adhesives I used on their blog post here! This card was so simple with our FREE printable downloads! All I had to do was pick a saying and adhere it to the front of our card.
I liked that the longest sentiment looked like it was an arrow going through the heart. I was able to use our longest die in the Card Sentiments Die pack to cut this saying out that reads "love is the greatest adventure with you". This saying is great for something like an anniversary, or even a birthday! I finished the front of my card with some more micro squares and added some foil to them! How neat is that?
