Bright Spring Hello Card Featuring the Stevie Moth Die and Field of Flowers Background
Hello everyone! Sara with you today to share with you a perfect spring card! From the motifs to the colors, to the design, this card screams spring has sprung!Β
I started my card off by creating the background. I used the Field of Flowers Layered Stencil on white cardstock. I chose Catherine Pooler ink colorsΒ that matched my patterned paper choices. I love how saturated and bright the background turned out, perfect for spring! I added a little splatter of Shimmer Mist and set it aside to dry.Β
For my Stevie moth, I decided not to die cut all of the decorative elements and keep the moth pretty simple. I cut the moth from patterned paper and added some details with a black and white gel pen. I also cut the body from some specialty cardstock with a pearl finish for extra sparkle.Β
For my sentiment, I used Short and Sweet Hi, hey, hello Word Dies. I cut the outline from the same pearlescent cardstock. Then I gave my die some extra dimension by cutting the script hello three times with white cardstock and once with patterned paper. I stacked them up to create interest. This is one of my favorite techniques to add something extra to my card.Β
I layered up my stenciled panel on some patterned paper. Then I added a 2-inch circle behind Stevie so that they would stand out against the background. A few puffy and epoxy shapes add the perfect finishing touch. Oh, and the inside is extra special too, but to see that, youβll need to watch the video!

Have A Lovely Day!
