Check out my replay of the Live I did where I made a lovely card featuring my new paper!

Happy World Card Makers Day!

Hi crafty friends! Yesterday was World Card Makers Day! How exciting is that :) Yesterday, I went LIVE on my YouTube and made a lovely card featuring my new paper and dies! Below is the replay of the live if you'd like to see my card making process! I created my own embellishments by making my own flowers using CP inks & some flower dies I have in my stash.

To 'tame down' my patterned paper, I decided to cut some small circles out of vellum to back my flowers with. I then added some sparkle onto the outside rim of my circles by adding some glue and dipping it in some glitter!

I love creating my own embellishments, it's especially nice if you don't feel like creating or you are in a rut. This has helped me get past those creative blocks.

I used my ribbon die and stamped this cute sentiment 'grateful for you' from Photoplay's fall stamp set. What's unique about my Card Sentiment Dies are that you can use them with all sorts of stamps! I've found a few company's stamps that fit perfectly with my dies.

I also used my Gift Card Die on the inside of my card! This fits perfectly inside an A2 sized card (which is the size of my paper!). I coordinated this with my Gifting & Numbers Stamp set to include the numbers on the 'inside' of the gift card as well as the saying 'don't spend it all at once'. I love this saying, I made it up myself!

I also added some more flowers to the inside of my card as well as some sequins to add some sparkle to the grey! I also cut out my A2 liner in grey to put on the inside bottom of my card. I figured once the gift card is in the holder, and the words written on the bottom, there won't be as much grey space.

This was so much fun to make live! I can't wait to do it again :)

Hope you have a fabulous Sunday,

With Heart,

Em
