Hey everybody! Happy New Year! Can you believe 2025 is here already?! Leslie here with you today, sharing a sweet new home card featuring our NEW all the happy things Stamp Set and Decorative Sentiment Dies which I paired with our Gift Card Holder Die With A Bow. This card is a tri-fold and is one of the easiest fun folds ever. I know Emily has been putting lots of teasers out there about the new products that arrived in the store on January 1st, and I know you’re excited to finally see them, so lets dig in!
Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base from dark red cardstock and score it at 4-1/4″. Cut an additional 4-5/8” x 5-1/2” panel and score it at 3/8”. Fold on the score line and burnish with a bone folder. Apply glue to the 3/8” flap and adhere the panel to the right edge of the card base to create the tri-fold. You’ll need to trim just a sliver off the left edge of the panel so the card will close flat.
Cut several 1/4" strips from dark red glitter cardstock along with several 1/8” strips from ivory cardstock. Adhere two of each vertically and two of each horizontally (slightly separating each pair) on the front of the card base. I wove mine for a little interest.
Using the dies in the Gift Card Holder With A Bow set, create a bow from dark red and red glitter cardstock, and adhere it to the cross-section of the strips.
Next, stamp the sentiment from the all the happy things Stamp Set in red ink and then cut it using the label-type die in the Decorative Sentiment Dies. Adhere it to the card front.
Now, lets embellish the tri-fold flap. Using the larger decorative edge rectangle die in the Decorative Sentiment Dies, cut a panel from dark red cardstock for a gift card. Using your paper trimmer, cut a slightly larger panel from ivory cardstock and round the corners to match the corners of the dark red die cut.
Using the Gift Card Holder Die With A Bow set, cut a gift card holder from patterned paper and trim it to fit inside the decorative edges of the dark red panel. Adhere it to the dark red panel and then to the tri-fold flap.
Okay, now for the inside. Cut a 4-1/8” x 5-3/8” panel from patterned paper and glue it down.
Using the smaller decorative edge rectangle die in the Decorative Sentiment Dies, cut a sentiment panel from ivory cardstock. Stamp another sentiment from the all the happy things Stamp Set in red ink and adhere it to the inside panel. This completes your card.
