Hi crafty friends!Β Irene here, and Iβm so glad youβve taken a moment to join me! Todayβs project feels extra special because not only am I sharing a graduation card tutorial... Iβm also sharing my very first official project as a Brand Ambassador for Emily Moore Designs! Β π
When I first pulled these products together, I realized they all shared this beautiful delicate elegance that Emily Moore Designs does so well. The fine details, graceful shapes, and polished finishes naturally lean soft and sophisticated. But instead of taking them in a floral or traditionally βprettyβ direction, I wanted to see what would happen if I pushed them toward something bold, celebratory, and graduation-ready instead.
Spoiler alert: they absolutely rose to the occasion. β¨
For this card, I used the all the happy things Stamp Set, Decorative Sentiment Dies, Yay! Layered Word Die, and the Confetti Layered Stencil to build a design that feels festive without losing that refined touch. Pairing the elegant details with strong blue, black, and gold tones completely changed the personality of the products while still letting their signature style shine through.
One of my favorite things about crafting is discovering unexpected versatility in supplies. Sometimes a product just needs a different color palette, a bolder layout, or a fresh context to unlock a whole new look. Thatβs exactly what happened here. The result feels celebratory, polished, energetic, and adaptable for so many different graduates and occasions. In my area we have several high schools, and Iβm already imagining this exact layout in purple and gold, red and black, green and silver, and so on! Customize it any way your imagination sparks, and it will be perfect for your special graduate!
The oversized βyay!β sentiment absolutely steals the spotlight, while the layered banners and confetti details help create that full-on celebration feeling. Itβs cheerful, modern, and just a little bit extraβkinda like me... LOL! π
I also shared a full video tutorial (below) so you can see exactly how this card came together from start to finish. Whether you recreate this design for a graduate or use it as inspiration to look at your own supplies differently, I hope it encourages you to experiment outside the βexpectedβ box now and then. Sometimes the biggest crafty surprises come from products showing a completely different side of themselves.
And honestly? That deserves a giant βyay!β all on its own. β¨
If you choose to follow this layout or if it inspires you in a completely different direction, I would love to be tagged so I can see what beautiful things you create! Find me on Instagram @artemismade1 !
Until next time, friends, I hope you take a moment to grab some paper and craft something that really makes you smile!
Big hugs,
Irene

Love the bold card which is so useful for graduation. I have made numerous birthday cards using βyayβ, the banners and the birthday stamp.
Such great products.
These tutorials are so helpful since I am a newbie to this hobby!!
